Polkadots! I will admit,..., January 5, 2012
Polkadots! I will admit, I'm a bit biased because I ADORE polka dots... But I
think I would still like this pen if it didn't have polka dots. First and
foremost, the refills will only live a short time - they are tiny! The slide
mechanism for selecting the refill that you like isn't the most durable; it
feels like it would break after just a few clicks. (Though, mine has held up -
so maybe it just FEELS that way.)
Overall.. for the cuteness factor, I would rate this pen a 5/5. Unfortunately,
the plastic body makes it feel as if it will not last long enough to truly enjoy
the cute polka dots. I won't be purchasing a second body, but I will happily let
this pen live on my desk (rather than die in my "pen drawer").

This review is from Uni-ball Style Fit 3 Color Multi Pen Body Component - Metallic Pink
One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is a bulky pen. This pen is so extremely light and
is not bulky at all. The colors are bright and colorful. The colors are thin and
do not run as well as I would wish for.

So far, so good. The..., December 10, 2011
This review is from Uni-ball Style Fit 3 Color Multi Pen Body Component - Silver
So far, so good. The body is reasonably slim--about the diameter of a standard
Kuru Toga pencil--and smooth to grip. It's definitely cheap feeling, but so is a
Bic, and this thing is way cooler than a Bic.
It's necessary to peel off the sticker before you can open it. The refills snap
into clearly visible holes. It takes some force to get them truly seated, but
once they're in place, the whole thing works smoothly. Writing with .5 gels is
about as dreamy as with the Signo DX: the pen just skates across the paper, no
rattling or bending. Same with the pencil component.
The white plungers & clip look a little dopey on the silver body--The black body
seems like it'd look nicer than the silver one does. But really, this is a
cheap, nifty, customizable multi-pen. If you want a nifty, customizable fine
writing implement, the metal version of the body component seems like it'd be a
good choice.
One more thing: hang on to the little containers that held the refills. It's
hard to resist swapping in new colors, and you'll need a way to store the
rotated-out colors!

This is a great pen! At first, I was a tad confused; I simply dropped the
refills in and tried to use it. I found out that you have to push in the refill
into the holes in the pen body; you'll hear a click sound to let you know that
you've done the right thing. After that, it wrote perfectly. I don't hear any
rattling, and so far it's been treating me just fine.

Very fragile body, easy to break (particularly the clip) and scratches very
easy. The ink cartridges are amazing, but the combination of body and cartridges
breaks the deal.
