Wow! what a difference from using a prismacolor carmine red color pencil. The lead is very smooth and NOT crumbly, the color is well saturated and what a joy to use.

excellent; I use these for drawing: blue for preliminary drawings (then tightening up with graphite pencil) and red for perspective lines or action lines...these are also good for underlining etc...
