Uni-ball Vision RT Retractable Liquid Ink Roller Ball Pen - 0.8 mm - Purple

Sigh.

I really, really, really wish I liked this pen.

In person, it is a stunning looking pen. The barrel is very nice looking with a cool window into the ink chamber that shows the color of the ink. It is a bit thicker than some of the other liquid pens in my arsenal. It clicks well too!

However, I have NEVER been able to get this pen to work. The ink has never flowed correctly, often stopping completely during writing or coming in thick and fast (like it should). It usually writes in a half-baked scratchy thin line that definitely is not how it is supposed to put down ink on the page.

I cannot get it to write consistently, and I have tried so, so hard to "break it in".

I probably got a dud, but just a warning if you're looking at these with interest.

This pen as a very nice barrel and it looks professional. Sadly, I don't like the way it writes because the ink flows well but after the second word the ink gets lighter, that is, like when you're about to run out of ink, but you're not. Well, simply it has an uneven flow of ink. It feels well in my hand and has good grip.(: (I hope this helps)

It feels more like an oil based ballpoint pen than a true Uni Vision Elite. Thin line, and too much white space in the lines. I will be returning to the regular elite for the ink flow.
