I bought five of these, waited for the restock and am delighted with them! The first one I carried with me was instantly snatched up by my aunt, I gladly surrendered it, knowing I have four more for myself Mua-ha-ha!
I am going to try lining one with felt or leather and perhaps try applying a stick-on cover or something as well. Endless opportunities for modification!
They are big enough for anything you may want to carry or store away. Nice!

Wonderful little case for a tiny portable watercoloring kit! I can fit a water brush or two, one of the little 3x3 Kuretake watercolor boxsets, a few brush pens, AND a 4x6 watercolor paper block in this puppy. The metal is slightly thicker than the food-packaging type of tin, and the hinging and clasp are well-made, so they stay closed when they should. Very happy with this, especially for the price.

I use these for my portable Zentangle kit. It is wide enough to hold the 3.5" tiles flat in addition to multiple pens and pencils.

Right now mine contains 20 Zentangle tiles, 4 Sakura pigma microns, 2 Sakura Gelly Rolls, black and white pencils, a lead holder with sharpener, a Zenstone, and 5 tortillions.

It also includes a tiny magnet with a needle and some safety pins stuck to it, a crochet hook, a few knitting stitch markers, a Tombow Mono Zero eraser, a cheap mechanical pencil, a Preppy Platinum with spare cartridge, lip balm, a crystal, an acorn cap, and a Lego piece. And I could easily put more stuff in.

When there's no good table handy, it makes a great drawing surface, too. I keep flat sheet magnet inside the lid to act as a "clipboard" and hold my tile against the case.

Bought this to keep my colored pencils in and it is perfect for that. It was just what I was looking for and I will probably buy more as my collection of pencils grows. Excellent product.

This plain metal case simply does its job. I needed something for all my writing implements ( well some of the really) in which they can lie flat. I find that easier to see, and pick up, the right tool. It holds plenty of pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. it opens and closes easily, many the attached lid can't wander off. A good investment. JetPens seems to have a hard time keeping these metall tins in stock!
