I think Waterman's "Florida Blue" is one of the best blue inks ever made. It is
a consistently excellent, safe, smooth-flowing deep blue. As the ink level drops
in the bottle, it can be tilted to rest on the angled side so it's still easy to
fill most fountain pens.
I bought this ink after reading how much people love it on the fountain pen
network and I am so glad that I did. It is a lovely blue ink. I love how it
looks when it is dry. And because it is a reasonable price you can spend all
day writing with it and not feel guilty about using it.
An ok blue. I've been a fan of Waterman ink for decades, and like most of their
inks it does write very well. The color reminds me of faded blue jeans...a
medium to light blue and nothing more than that. Don't expect vibrant here...
This is a nice ink but what I received is not well represented in the color
samples provided by numerous online retailers. The ink in my bottle is a blue
with a definite purplish hue. A nice ink, as I said, just not what I expected.
I love this ink! Up until now I've just been using the cartridges, but having
such a large bottle and using a converter is more cost effective. It's a
beautiful, rich color that flows smoothly with all my fountain pens.
Additionally, it erases completely with my eraser marker, making essay writing
and note taking much cleaner.
