This is a very cute, useful little notebook. The pages are laid out well so that you can record the date, location, and company for your restaurant visits, as well as your thoughts and ratings of your experience. It's useful to keep on hand especially if you travel a lot. Unfortunately the paper isn't great for fountain pens. Don't expect any shading, and wetter writers will feather and bleed.

I have used Word pocket notebooks for a while now and have always been satisfied with the quality. I love trying new places to eat and dishes I've never had before. Unfortunately, my memory is garbage sometimes and I can't for the life of me remember what something was called or where I had a certain dish. The tasting notes are really helpful in that department. I only wish they worked retroactively or that I had discovered them sooner. I suppose you could always just use any pocket notebook to as a food journal but I like the layout already on the pages in this one.
