This is my favorite pencil!

Hexagonal body, removable clip, 0.3 mm lead, a twist out eraser, it has everything I like and no nonsense.

An amazingly durable and reliable pencil for the price. Good enough to give the old faithful Pentel P203 a run for it's money. No jamming issues, and the interior lead tube will easily hold an entire tube of 12 leads. I've used many .3mm pencils over the years as a professional cartoonist/illustrator, and this pencil ranks up there with some of the best. Very light, like a wooden pencil, allowing for paper surface texture info to be transmitted easily to the fingers...very important for drawing, and a sensation often lost with heavier pencils which isolate the artist's hand from the paper. The price...can't beat it for such a great pencil.

Love these because you don't need to remove cap to get at eraser, and they're cheap. I've had one where the clutch stopped working, so they may not be very durable. Still, a very nice pencil for the price.

Around 2 hours ago or so I lost this pencil and I miss it so much I can't help but say that this was my favourite pencil-- it NEVER squeaked and it fit comfortably in my hand. Sure, I was never sure if the lead wasn't going to break when I inserted it into the barrel but at the same time it never broke when I wasn't sure. The lead advanced little by little so all I had to do was click once and I'd have enough-- and the lead rarely broke on me. I don't know, this was a spectacular pencil and I'm thinking of buying another since I lost my old one :c

Just got this pencil, overall its a good pencil, however the sleeve was not what i expected it to be.

the lead is held still via a rubber/plastic? grommet inside the metal tip. I expected a more "snug" fit of the lead in the actual sleeve.

this play can cause squeaking if the pencil is held very close to perpendicular to the paper when writing, on the bright side, if you do not advance the lead too far, you wont get lead breakage. (I learned to write softer using fountain pens now)

the build quality was okay, nothing to rave about, something that works overall.

I'd give this pencil 5 stars if the sleeve was more snug. the quest for the perfect fit sleeve for a .3 remains.. (hopefully without spending a fortune to find it...)

compared to the pilot air blanc...

the air blanc is more "fitted" at its "sleeve" well the tip... the lead does not move around much, and fits nicely. however because its not a sleeve type, i do get some breakage when used at a more extreme angle. and the rubber grip.. eh (it seems to become loose rather quickly, and now is like a old rubber grip), relative to this pencil, its a draw. since this grip isnt uber comfy either.

I would take this pencil over the air blanc, but this isnt pocket safe for those who cares. .3 sleeve is quite sharp to put in your pocket.
