I have used this same pen for about two years and can hardly believe I haven't
lost or broken it. It does go through refills fast, but they are not too
expensive if you by them in bulk. That said, the grip is perfect for me, since
I tend to grip towards the tip, and the rubber goes down much farther than on
other comparable pens. I would pick this over a G2. I have lots of G2's in all
sizes (and colors) but this is my pick for journaling and note taking. It lays
a very black smooth line without much pressure. I alternate between this pen
and fountain pens for daily writing and do not have to change my style much to
accommodate. The clip has proven to be very sturdy and the overall body as
well. My wife brought this pen home from school as a lost pen, and I am so glad
she did. It is my favorite gel. I have tried other gels but still come back to

An ecological issue of the Zebra Sarasa Clip pens, which are my favorite, so
this edition will give you a few extra karma points for helping the environment.
I prefer 0.5mm though.

Lays down a thick dark line with no voids or blobs. Starts writing instantly
with no issues. The start and end of lines lave a nice taper where the tip
meets/leaves the paper, just like a fountain pen. The spring clip is handy in
the car and the ink hasn't frozen up so far in cold weather.

The ink flow is great for music note writing. Very dark black ink is nice if you
want strong black color.
