In my quest for a good disposable, refillable pen, I bought the F-402 on the recommendation of an office supply employee. He would store the pen, unretracted, in his pocket to show how it wouldn't stain his shirt. I liked this pen, the grip, the size and the way it writes. What I didn't like was the thread in the barrel. The tip is metal, the body of the pen is metal, but the thread for the tip is plastic. I was trying to find a replacement for the Zebra F-301 Ultra, but could not find one in any of the office places here. This one is similar, but a little fatter and longer. I like the grip on it. I guess they don't make the F-301 Ultra anymore.

I have to say, I was not impressed with this pen. I could have picked up the 301 (same 0.7 size) in my local Office Max, but I wanted a retractable pen. Unfortunately this pen felt bulky and awkward in my hand and the ink was scratchy, IMHO. I ended up giving the pen away to a coworker who said he liked it. For the price, this pen was too expensive for how little it performed.
