Buyer beware! This refill...

Buyer beware! This refill writes super thin! Yeah yeah, I know, it's a .4mm refill, thin is to be expected. But I wasn't expecting the line weight to be half of what my Pigma MICRON01 .25mm is. I bought the Royal Blue, Ever Green and Blood Red refills (all .4mm) and noticed that the ink flow is different for each color. The Royal Blue writes really smooth, with no interruptions and hardly any line variation. The Blood Red skips a bit and scratches the paper more. Ever Green is between the two. I'm not sure if this is because of the difference in ink color or if it's a QC issue, I imagine this ultra thin line doesn't allow for much tolerance in the rollerball hardware.
All of the above said, I still enjoy these refills, the colors are beautiful and it's fun to have these ultra thin pens to play around with.
