The Mildliner highlighter features a unique color that shows up softly on paper. It has just the right shade to attract your attention, but won't overwhelm you with bright fluorescence. The highlighter is double-sided with a broad and fine tip.

I like the fine/bold. I outline a block of text with the fine side and individual lines of text with the bold. I also have the blue green and gray. This color is a little darker than expected for a highlighter but I still like it a lot.

It's not as mild or as pastel as I would've preferred, but more of light olive green (Which is still darker than the color advertised.). However, it does look nice when I use it for note taking rather than highlighting book passages.
Because it's a little darker, you can often see it on the other side of thin paper, but I'm not too bothered. It's still a pretty color. :)

I ordered a whole bunch of these and this, the Smoke Blue and the Blue Green are my favourites!
The colour is definitely an olive green and it might be a little dark if you're looking to highlight passages in a book, but I'm using them to colour code my own handwritten notes and it works PERFECTLY. The broad side makes a nice, even line and the fine tip is great for writing little parenthetical additions/corrections.
I've been using the other colours all over the place, but the Green is dedicated to one project along with an off-white notebook, brown-black writing ink and the olive green Staedtler fineliner. Beautiful and utilitarian!

Another bonus is that, unlike fluorescent highlighters, YOU CAN SCAN OR TAKE PHOTOS OF THESE COLOURS! No weird miscoloured blotches as your scanner struggles with neon orange! Definitely a new staple supply for me.
