DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
Use Zebra's Onamae Mackee double-sided name marker to label your belongings with bold letters using the fine tip, or use the extra-fine tip to label items more discreetly. Both tip sizes are at your fingertips with this twin-tip pen. Designed especially for labeling your personal belongings, Zebra has ensured that the oil-based ink remains sharp and retains its dark black color on fabrics even after laundering 100 times. This pen labels anything from gym clothes and tennis shoes to pencil cases, backpacks, and sports equipment. The marker writes on cloth, plastic, metal, glass, leather, and a wide range of other materials. It is not suitable for soft PVC items such as swim rings, rain boots, and raincoats.

On top of being a versatile name marker, the Onamae Mackee is a great comic art pen. Interestingly, it is a favorite among many Asian comic artists due to its dark, consistent lines. (It is known as the "Zebra Name" marker in Asian countries outside of Japan.)

Writes on metal, writes on plastic, smooth flow and does NOT come off. Great if you want to do Zentangle-inspired art on unusual surfaces, like a metal pen case. Having the dual tip means you can make fine lines or fill with ease, PLUS it doesn't smell (like a Sharpie does) so you don't mind taking a long time to do something really intricate. Will definitely buy again!

actually stays on, but comes off with friction. Haven't tried it on cloth yet, but I heard it stays on cloth the best. And yes it writes on metal.

I tried both brands and they work well. Have some other stuff to take care of, like taxes, before I use them again. Heidi made the recommendation for the pens. Please thank her for me. The ink dries quickly so that's a plus.
