DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
The Zebra Prefill multi pen system is amazingly versatile. True to its name, which is an amalgamation of "prefer" (because you choose the components you prefer!) and "refill," the system lets you customize your multi pens to suit your preferences. The pen body is your blank canvas and you outfit it with your favorite gel inks, ballpoint inks, emulsion inks, or even mechanical pencils. Simply choose a pen body, then the ink and pencil types, point sizes, and colors that you want, then assemble to make your unique creation.

The body has a clear lower section, allowing you to see all the exciting inks and pencils you have selected. Pencil lead is dispensed by clicking the top button. The sturdy spring-loaded clip fastens your pen to your notebooks and pockets.

This is a pen body only. It can hold four ink refills or three inks and one pencil component, which are available separately.

This may not be the latest and greatest customizable multi pen - but as far as i know, it's the only one (besides the Sharbo) that has a 0.07 pencil option. While i own a few Sharbo's as well, this is great for a less expensive option using 0.07 pencil as one of the components.

This is a nice and affordable multipen with a lot of options to fill it with! I work at a psychiatric hospital and take a lot of notes and such, using pencils and different colored pens, and this puts all I need into one writing instrument. I put two mechanical pencils in it (4H and 4B leads), a 0.4mm black gel and a 0.5mm black emulsion in (works better than the thin gel for signing documents, particularly carbon paper documents). I bought a second Prefill (a white one) and put 4 different colored gel inks in it, just for fun, really.

I would say get this thing if you're looking for a multi pen with a lot of versatility, very good quality inks available, but also one that won't make you weep if you lose it (or someone permanently borrows it).

This might not be a fancy metal pen, but it more than gets the job done. I was looking for a simple multicolor pen that was cheap and that could take whatever refills I wanted to use. I'm a doctor, and at my work I have to make a lot of checklists to make sure things are getting done, so I use multiple colors. I've lost my pen too many times, and it's always a pain to reorder them. Since these are so cheap, I just bought a whole bunch of empty bodies, and a lot of refills. Now if I lose a pen, it's still frustrating, but at least I can grab a spare empty pen body and fill it with my Zebra Surari 0.5mm emulsion ink refills and I'm good to go again.

The only thing that would make this the best pen ever, would be if it had an eraser!!

Zebra is my favorite gel ink manufacturer, at least for the black color. But this body component is flimsy and easy to break. I use it in my office daily.
