The mechanism for changing colors is pretty smooth, and the pen body is nicely
shaped and construction seems solid, as well as the rubber grip. But it is a
chunky body, so keep that in mind. Also, while the ink flows nicely and does
not smear, the writing is not as smooth as some other gel ink pens, so don't
expect it to glide quickly around the paper. I don''t use this one for taking
notes quickly..

Great pen. Imagine 3 SARASAs in one pen. Awesome. Just pure awesome. The grip is
a little thicker so watch out if you are grip-thickness sensitive.
Buy this pen.
Oh, only complaint is that the ink funs out pretty fast b/c the ink tube
container things are pretty thin.

Zebra Sarasa 3 Color Gel Ink Multi Pen - 0.5 mm - Black Body
I had one of these for 7 years, bought from Tokyu Hands in Shibuya, and it was
still working perfectly when I lost it despite a lot of rough treatment and
literally thousands of clicks to change between colours (I use all three colours
pretty much equally).
However, the excellent build quality is just a bonus: the main reason I like
this pen is that it writes beautifully. The ink flows smoothly and evenly and
looks absolutely beautiful on the page. The crisp, bright, colourful look of the
ink becomes even more apparent when you use high quality paper: lovely!
One of the main reasons I'm writing this review is as a response to Jarchie's;
in my experience there is absolutely no problem with the blue ink. It's a
beautiful shade; most definitely blue and impossible to mistake for the black.
I've been through quite a few refills now (both 0.5 and 0.4 for the blue) and
have never had this problem. Perhaps jarchie had a dud? The only similar thing
that I have noticed is that if the pen has been stored nib downwards for a long
time the first few words (literally the first few) will be darker than the rest
but that's about all.
The Sarasa 3 has been my favourite pen for the last seven years and, seeing as I
have just ordered three more of 'em to replace the one I lost last week, I
suspect it will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Zebra Sarasa 3 Color Gel Ink Multi Pen - 0.5 mm - Wine Red Body
Great pen. Writes wonderfully, just as expected. Not too big around, can grip
easily and write comfortably. I should warn you though, THIS PEN IS NOT RED!!!!
It is PINK. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But it does not look like the color
on the computer screen.

Zebra Sarasa 3 Color Gel Ink Multi Pen - 0.5 mm - Black Body
Overall, this is an extremely well-designed pen. The grip is comfortable and the
body is thick--about what one would expect from a 4+1 ballpoint multi pen. Gel
pens use a lot of ink, and the thick body allows for refills which last for a
reasonable amount of time--unlike any other gel multi-pen I've seen. The colors
are dark, making written text a pleasure to read.
The one drawback of this pen, which usually keeps me from using it, is that the
blue ink is too dark. In low-light conditions, I am unable to discern the
difference between blue and black--a huge problem since there are only three
colors to work with and I like to color code things. There is a green ink refill
available. But, to my knowledge, there is no way to change the color of the blue
tab used to extend the pen tip. The perfectionist in me does not like the idea
of sliding a blue tab and getting green ink.

Zebra Sarasa 3 Color Gel Ink Multi Pen - 0.5 mm - Wine Red Body
Awesome clear smooth writing instrument. It's fairly lightweight and super
affordable price! The only remark I have is that when I ordered this I was
expecting a red colored multi-pen and was pleasantly surprised that it looks
pink.
