This is my favorite go-to pen when I'm out traveling. I love the color. Its dark and muted and quite lovely. The ink comes out smooth and works great with my half cursive half print handwriting.

This is definitely my go-to pen for every kind of writing. Color is a nice dense navy blue, and goes with everything. it's usually the first pen I pick up for any kind of letterwriting. Looks very elegant.

I love the ink in this pen. It's dark-- I find it closer to black than blue-- but that's just the way I like it, and it flows out beautifully. A perfectly appropriate color for even the most formal purposes. A joy to write with.

The push clip grows on you, but I wish it could be made a little thinner and that Zebra would chill out a little bit with the branding.

Still, this is fast becoming my go-to, every day pen.

The ink in this pen definitely leans more towards (navy) blue than black, but I still love it. The grip is soft, and the pen is sturdy. The 0.4 mm tip is great for my notes!

This is my favorite plastic pen, the clip doesn't break (as easy) as other plastic pens thanks to the clip mechanism, the anti sliding rubber is generous in the space used, and the ink is among my favorites in the gel category, also, it doesn't scratch the paper and produces a thin to medium line. A very well designed every day pen. In this case, the blue black color is dark as I prefer this particular color.

This is a wonderful pen. The only downside is that extended periods of clip use lead to the metal piece being molded that way, rendering the clip useless. Be wary of that and you'll have a fine pen that goes above and beyond, considering most gel pens aren't smooth, and most smooth pens aren't gel.

This is the best pen I have ever used. I have looked at many other fine tip pens -- gel ink, ballpoint, etc.... I\'ve the .28 Uniball, .25 Slicci, the Hi-Tec C, and none of them have been able to write as smoothly or consistently as this has. It does not blotch; it gives a consistent and even line. Not only is it good for extended writing, but it\'s also been excellent for underlining in books and editing in papers and such. I would recommend this pen far above any others. And the best part is that it\'s a meager $ for a new pen. I\'ve spent that on refills for pens I like less. Do yourself a favor and buy 3 or 4 of these pens and a few different colors -- if you like fine tip pens for clean, precise writing, then you will love this.

At long last, I have found the perfect pen. Writes smoothly but still "grips" the page, great clip, solid and durable grip. I can't tell if it goes through ink quickly or whether I'm just using this pen more than all of my others, but refills at $1.20 (80¢ less than the pen itself) is worth it, in my opinion. A wonderful, wonderful pen that's a joy to use.

After trying out a slew of pens for my pocketmod and also a moleskin large notebook (grid paper ruled) I found this pen at 0.4 size to be the best at small detail, smooth ink flow (small scratchiness I don't mind), least bleed through moleskine grid paper. It's the most balanced pen and best compromise for most of my uses, I will exclusively use it from now, except for the zebra-Clip-On-multipen which is great for all the colors but ink runs out way too quickly.

I Compared this pen with Zebra Clip Sarasa 0.3, 0.5 and I found 0.4 the best. Signio 207 0.5, and 0.38 were good but either too small and scratchy (0.38) of ink flow a little more than the paper could handle (0.5) leading to some smudging and less clean lines. Pilot G-2 0.5 and 0.38 were GOOD, but not as clean and nice on moleskine graph paper as the Zebra Clip Sarasa 0.4 which after comparing everything side by side was the best I could come up with. I also like the quality and feel of the clip (with a true joint pivot point as opposed to single plastic piece clip as in the G-2) and clicker was nice to click on and off when lost in thought :)

Cons for this pen: is that this pen doesn't have a RED cartridge and its not free.

Loved this pen so much, I bought refills for it. It's great. I find the clip a bit pointless since I store it in a pouch with my other pen(cil)s, but the grip is great and not to squishy, and the pen is nice and sturdy. Great for my notes.

Excellent pen. I just bought mine at the Mitsuwa marketplace here in San Diego (a little bit cheaper in person at the local store, but still a good pen at any price). I love the clean, dark line this pen creates, and the smoothness is unparalleled by any of its contemporaries for a pen of this price.

All in all, I would strongly recommend this as your first choice if you are looking for something nice to use as an everyday writer. Excellent pen!!

Excellent pens!! Highly recommended! I have tried just about every Zebra Sarasa Push Clip size and color, from 0.7 mm down to 0.3mm (as well as the discontinued Sarasa Stick series in 1.0 thru 0.3) and every single Sarasa pen I've used has been a top quality product.
The 0.7mm Push Clip Sarasas are the smoothest writing tips and they lay down the boldest, brightest colors--that is because the 0.7 mm ballpoint tip lets out more ink than the smaller tips. You won't be able to write as small though. because the 0.7 mm tip does not work for tiny details. But those statements are true for any 0.7 mm gel pen.
The things that make Zebra Sarasa Push Clip pens *different* and better than other 0.7mm gel pens are: Zebra's beautifully pigmented inks, their diverse & unique color selections, the smart design of the pen body & one-of-a-kind clip, the generous capacity of the ink reservoir, and of course the bargain price. Maybe there are better gel pens out there somewhere, but I've stopped looking for them... I'll take Sarasa Push Clips please!!

A fantastic pen in a rather unusual color. And the 0.3 mm allows for really, really fine lines. This is one of my favorite multi-purpose pens, I use it for everything from jotting notes, to crossword puzzles, to doodling, to making lists. I tend to go with an 0.5 mm tip, normally, because I have had a few other 0.3s that were a bit scratchy, but not this one. This pen is about as perfect as one can find. At this price, what's not to like??

LOVE this pen! I am very picky about pens. They have to be gel. They have to be purple. They have to be BOLD. This is one of the few that meets all three and I love, love, loved it! Very smooth, pearly looking, dries almost instantly. The only negative thing I can think of is that it didn't last very long, but most gel pens don't! I will gladly buy again, but it is out of stock! (guess that also says something about how good it is!)

Given the broad tip and color of the blue-black ink, the text ends up being very dark, almost black. Doesn't go through the paper I've used it on, though. If you want a bluer tone than black, get a lighter shade.... but it writes neat and smooth.

Love the whole line of Zebra Sarasa Push Clips. The .03 mm line is clean, and the ink flow is smooth, not scratchy like many tips that size or smaller.

When it works, I'm a big fan of this pen. Unfortunately, I've found that the ink is not smooth-flowing a lot of the time, and often stops flowing completely. For occasional use, it's quite good, but not so great for all-day writing.

Love these pens! Saw them on here, and knew I had to get them right away! They are similar to the Hi-Tec-C's, but with a more solid body style (Similar to all Sarasa's, as well as the UniBall Signo RT! The colors are great and the ink is smooth. Definitely recommended!

Love it, very smooth and cheap, I can not believe how well it works for the price! I just ordered more colors because I love this pen so much!

not the brownest brown you'll encounter, but a lot more opaque than those of more vivid hues. but it's a nice unobtrusive notetaking color for a change. luckily the overall quality is up to par with standard-color sarasas, which sadly isn't tha case with many other makes and models.

After trying a wide assortment of pens, I have to say this is one of my favorites. The balance and flow is great. I especially like the grip, it starts pretty low which is great for people like me, who like to grip pens and pencils low. The only problem I would have have to say would be that its pretty thick. Really wish they had a slimmer version.

I LOVE this pen! The moving clip is really fun to play with. The navy ink is gorgeous too. The pen writes very well especially for the price. In comparison to the regular Zebra Sarasa, the grip on this version is 8 mm closer to the end of the pen. This is great for me because I grip my pens close to the end and with most other pens I end up only using part of the grip. However, the pen is not the most attractive I've seen. The visible threads inside the pen where it unscrews look really ugly and the hazy white/clear plastic towards the tip looks weird especially when the rest of the pen has completely clear plastic. But that's just me being picky. I like the grip and the clip so much that those outweigh any minor quibbles I have with the design.

I absolutely love this pen. I keep buying singles of the Zebra Sarasa Push Clips in the 0.3mm. I've tried the 0.4mm and I found that the tip feels like it's tugging at the surface of the paper.

The 0.3mm on the other hand is smooth, with a clean line and they don't smear. I love the brown color, it's dark, easy to read and it's something a little different - which is never a bad thing!

I just wish they made a gift-set with only black, brown and blue-black! Then I'd be in heaven!

I love this pen! The ink flow is great and the line width is uniform with no skips or blobs. It writes very smoothly, even in cursive. I use this pen to write notes in the margin of my Bible. The ink does not bleed through the super thin pages and is not even visible through them (which is not the case with regular black pens). I found it to be a beautiful subtle color that is easy on the eyes. Love the clip, too. It slips easily over notebook covers. This is my #2 pen. If I'm not writing in blue-black, then I'm using this one.
