Zebra has done a superb job combining all the desirable characteristics of a fine tipped gel ink pen into one creation - the Sarasa Push Clip.

The Sarasa features a gel pen tip that is sturdy enough to endure hard writing pressure, drops, and other pen abuses. It's also retractable, and is equipped with a binder clip that allows it to clip onto thicker object without breaking. It has smooth writing, is affordable, and is even made of recycled plastic. Pigment ink is water resistant. All of these characteristics make it a favorite for travelers and office workers who want a high quality pen you can take anywhere, and yet lose without too much monetary sorrow. A variety of tips sizes and colors available.

I'm an artist and I use...

I'm an artist and I use a number of tools when I work. I've started using this pen, almost exclusively, for inking my art. It lays down strong vivid lines even over other mediums. A single stroke creates a nice line, a few more can create a nice bold line. The only thing to keep in mind is when you apply a few strokes to the same area the ink will take a few seconds longer to dry. It's best to wait a little before erasing any pencil lines as you will risk smudging the ink and ruining you're piece.

-- Refillable
-- Strong Bold Lines
-- Very Smooth (even when writing over graphite)
-- Waterproof (works with watercolors and copic markers)

-- Requires a few seconds to dry
-- Paper matters (a paper that handles ink well is required otherwise it will smudge)

I highly recommend this ink and ink combo for any artist who wants to quickly ink an image and also use those inks with watercolors or markers. But a good paper is required, be careful when writing with it, it could smudge. But once the ink is dry it's immovable.

They actually sell these...

They actually sell these in America and I actually used these all last year (since America fails to have extra fine tipped pens for small hand writers like me...) But despite their thickness, they are really great pens for everyday use. I liked them a lot better than the pilot ones anywho...

Dark Line
Smooth Line
Ink Comes Out Easily (less pressure can be applied)
On thinner paper, the lines can be thinner (which is useful)
Comfortable Grip

Runs out of ink quickly (but I like that since I feel incredibly accomplished for not losing a pen during it's entire life of ink)

I really like this pen and even though not a lot of people on this site come here for the thicker pens (lol me...) I have grown an attachment to its fluidity and general nice feel. :)

The single best pen I have ever owned. Smooth ink, satisfying click of the retractor, and the clip is bulletproof. I'm in retail and let dozens of customers use my Zebra Sarasa's and get compliments daily. I even give some away to my best customers and their just eyes light up. I'll be getting more of these for sure.

If you're a right-handed person, this is probably a great pen. But being a leftie, the ink smudges - and it smudges horribly. It also spluttered (didn't write smoothly) and blotched. I don't recommend this for left-handed people.
