I have both CB8 pens. Love them. No issue with "off" being between hash marks. I use uni jetstream refills and zebra emulsion.

This pen is engineering...
August 9, 2014
This pen is engineering perfection and my most valued every day carry item next to my knife. I use this pen constantly and have found no short comings or complaints other than the ink cartridges do run out faster than other pens, but they are smaller and you can find refills for as low as $1.50 on JetPens.com.

What I use this pen for:

-Working with Panasonic Toughbooks on Critical Care ambulance transport. They stylus insert is outstanding!

-Taking upwards of 15-20 pages of notes a day for school. I can also write more important or relative items in other colors to emphasize importance when I"m studying. This pen makes this so much easier because I only need one pen instead of 2 or 3.
-Highlighting sections of books with the fluorescent green ink refill. True it is not a "real" highlighter but I can transition quickly and without the need for multiple items while in class. Once again the convenience of not needing multiple pens is extremely nice.

-I also use this for everyday tasks and people complement frequently on how awesome this pen is.

As far as quality goes this pen is beyond reproach. The mechanism is solid and tight, even after weeks of use. The carbon fiber grip is solid as well and feels nice during long writing sessions. The end cap has a rubber tip that can be used for turning pages in a book or notebook which I thought was pointless until I started doing it, thus it is a great time saver. The threads in the CB8 are also aluminum which is a nice touch. The TS10 and a few other models have plastic threads. The diameter of this pen is about 25-35% larger than a standard pen. With this in mind it is not overly dramatic in size. It does have a fair weight to it, but is to be expected with solid aluminum construction. Considering weight, I have had no issues with writers cramp or exhaustion even while writing for hours at a time. If weight and size are a concern consider the F-Line which has the same construction as the CB8 but for smaller hands.

I know this is a lengthy review but there is very little information out there on these pens. This should not sway you from buying one however, as I have found it to be worth every penny I spent.

This is the pinnacle...

This is the pinnacle of multipens. Even after three years, the mechanism is as tight as when it was new. The cap over the eraser is solid brass and screws on, so it is nearly impossible to lose. The carbon fiber sleeve provides a fantastic feel and is far more beautiful than the pictures reveal. I agonized for weeks over pulling the trigger on such a pricey pen but I finally did it and, knowing what I know now, would spend much more without hesitation. If you're a hard writer (like me), order the ballpoint refills because the roller balls will last an hour if you're lucky. Above all, buy this pen!

Mother of multipen-cil....

Mother of multipen-cil. This multi is so well designed, it incorporated everything you would want. One thing no body figured out was the rubber on the eraser screw cap is there to flip pages. Try it, you'd be amazed. Flipping through notes is a breeze, flip it around, twist to red pen and mark it up, flip it back over and keep going.
