This is a smooth gel pen that is comfortable to write with. However, it runs out of ink in no time! (I'm writing thesis notes on a Black n' Red 8x12" notebook, and the refill runs out in 4-5 pages.) I give this refill 3 stars instead of 2 because the color is truly lovely: vivid, but easy on the eyes.

I love the dark smooth lines created by this refill, but i found that within one or two days of using it, it started to bleed out the tip in small increments. This bleeding would cause blotches on my paper that were undesirable. I keep the pen in my pocket and I feared a larger bleed that would ruin my pants, So I discontinued the use of this refill. I recognize that it may have been that i got a defective refill, and i will attempt to use the second one that I bought at the sametime and hopefully have better results.

I was shocked at how amazing it was to write with this; it made taking notes tolerable, and almost enjoyable! Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about the longevity of the refill. I start off the day with a new refill, and sure enough, about 3/4 of the way through my last lecture every day, black-gray-white... scribble, shake, scribble... nothing. It is so disappointing to enjoy using my awesome Sharbo X so much, only to find out that it takes around $3.00 per day to use it. If I don't find another place to buy the ink, I'll regrettably have to start using another pen of less quality.

I really liked this refill as prefer gel inks. However it ran out of ink just over a week after I started using it. So I would only recommend this if you only plan to use it sparingly not as a primary writing tool unless you don't mind going though a refill a week.

Writes well, but runs out EXTREMELY fast. I'm a student, and I noticed that even before 4 lectures that are around 1.5 hours each, the ink had run out. I'm starting to second guess my Sharbo purchase. The look, feel, and function of the pen are great, but the constant refills just seems unsustainable. We'll just have to see over time.

This black ink is very nice, the line width a is bit thinner than other 0.5mm pens, but within the range. It doesn't last much. The cartridge is metallic and short.

Sadly, this isn't a blue black color as shown in other brands of ink and even Zebra itself, more like a dark turquoise or dark greenish blue. Other than that, good line width and flows well on the paper. The cartridge is metallic and very short, so it doesn't last much either.

I love these gel refills. They write dark and smooth lines. No skipping. The only downfall is that the ink runs out so fast. Best to use for short note taking. The color is actually a dark pink/magenta color. Not fluorescent at all.

This fit perfectly in my Rotring multi pen. It writes very nicely, unlike the very stiff ballpoint that the Rotring came with. Line is thin, which means that the ink should last for a long time.

I love the way this refill writes. BUT!!! it runs out way too fast. Used just one day and already had to replace with another refill and for the cost of the refill it just doesn't pay to use it. Too bad I really wanted to like it. Hopefully can find another refill that is gel and doesn't run out quite so quickly. :'(

Writes easily with line quality on par with my 0.38 Pilot G-2 gel pens. Time will tell how long it lasts...

The best part: These refills fit Skillcraft B3 Aviator multi pens! Now I have more choices than the black or red 1.0mm cartridges that come with the B3. The Zebra cartridge seems to be exactly the same dimensions as the Skillcraft cartridge. Zebra fits slightly more snug than the Skillcraft, so I believe it will not fall out.

Good ink, but requires a lighter touch than I was used to.

Nice color and good quality. However, it's not very left-hand friendly. It writes smoother 'away from the paper' to accommodate a right-handed person. Dries faster and more water resistant than the Hi-Tec-C ink.

OW.... This is very unexpected. The refill itself is about 2 inches long. I am glad that I bought 2 of the same for a 3 slot Sharbo, but REALLY? How much can you write with this? I hope a decent amount. Doesn't look like much, and considering it's a gift, I'd really REALLY hope that its going to last a while. Considering the price, I'd hate to have my sis keep shelling out for refills...

Used this pen a few times. I wrote about a page before this pen gave out on me...
