I am really enjoying..., November 4, 2011
I am really enjoying this pen. It's a great pen for every day carry. It is
solid. It feels great in the hand. It's shockingly thin for a multi-pen. I love
the color (the orange is nicely muted). The ink is great. I've had this pen for
several weeks and have had no issues. It meets all of my expectations and,
despite the price, I'd say it's a great value. I share a frustration with
several other reviewers that the pencil component can't be swapped out for
another pen or stylus. When I want to do some serious writing with a pencil, I
use my Rotring 600. Nothing particularly wrong with the pencil in the Sharbo X,
but I would get more use out of something else. Other than that, I've got no
complaints.

I just received my pen..., October 24, 2011
I just received my pen and so haven't had a chance to use it extensively yet,
but it makes a good first impression. It feels well constructed and
thoughtfully put together. I wish there were a fourth rotation setting that
retracted all the components for when carrying the pen in a pocket. I know the
pen can be set between two of the three settings to achieve the same thing, but
it feels more likely that the pen will rotate in transport and write all over my
pocket than with a dedicated retracted notch. That's a minor complaint though
and I would buy the pen again. ... only in a different color. "Orange Flame"
in person is much more "Baby poop after too much squash".

This is an extremely handy, versatile pen. The ink/color options are solid, and
size and weight of the pen give it a nice feel when writing. Putting colored
lead in the pencil component is an option that's fun and/or useful depending on
your purpose.

I've been carrying this pen around in my pocket for nearly two weeks now, and I
absolutely love it. It's so handy to have all different writing options in one
slim, professional looking pen. It writes well, and while the refills are
definitely small, I have been using this pen regularly and I haven't been
burning through refills. Admittedly, it's a pricey pen, but if you feel like
treating yourself, I highly recommend this pen.

I received this pen (the..., August 16, 2009
I received this pen (the orange rust colored one) a few days ago and thought I
would use it a few days before reviewing it. Perhaps my biggest disappointment
is the two color option. I wish I could have opted out of the pencil component
for another ink color. As far as the quality, I say it is superb. The gel ink
flows flawlessly as I think most gel inks do for the most part. The wieight
might be an issue for some but its either the feather light plastic feel or the
heaviness of something more. No longer being a student having to write for hours
at a time I cannot give a review of the heaviness being a matter of fatigue or
not. I love the twist action with the feel and look of simplicity. Of course, I
imagine you get the slender body by not having so many refill options...I like
that but it takes a hit on color options. If you are a pencil user, then it is
nice to have options of lead size. I have noticed that my pen body has picked up
a stain of probably another pen and even with alcohol it does not come out. I
believe someone wrote that they heard rattling when shaking their pen....well,
mine seems quite solid. Overall, the pen is nice and the quality I feel is very
good. If you need more color options, however, this is not the pen to buy.
