The ST3 is a really nice..., November 21, 2012
The ST3 is a really nice pen and I really like the white finish, but compared to
my favorite Sharbos, the LT3, this pen is kind of big and feels a little less
comfortable to write with.
It's diameter is a little larger than that of the LT3 and for me that's a little
too wide.
Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the nicest multipens I've see, but they
can't beat the LT3.

We bought two of these..., September 15, 2012
We bought two of these in Japan years and years ago. One for me and one for my
husband. He used his maybe a week. I can't remember why. I use mine
intermittently through the years, but when I do use it, it is day-in day-out,
heavy duty workhorse.
Mine does have minor paint chips and scratches, but I have abused the pen. It
gets thrown in bags and pockets. The mechanism still works smoothly. There are
no loose joints. The refills do not wobble when I write. I mostly use 0.4
black gel refill and I love it! That's the main reason I keep going back to this
pen. The ink is smooth, dark and consistent.
The pen is expensive, and I am constantly buying and carrying refills. So be
warned. This is an expensive investment. This is like putting premium gas in a
gas-guzzling sports car. I could not have afforded this as a student. But
since I'm not a student, I spoil myself with this pen. I would definitely buy it
again, but it's not for everyone.

Love this pen! I've been using it on a regular basis for about four months and
would probably say it's my favorite pen. Really like the white shade as well.

This is a beautiful pen..., April 10, 2011
This is a beautiful pen however, the plastic elements have completely failed.
My first disappointment was the discovery, that all the threads are made of
plastic, it\'s not cool that a $$ pen have plastic connections. Because of the
plastic threading the pen does unscrew on occasion especially when twisting from
one perfect liquid ink refill to the other. I have used this pen nearly
everyday, for the last three months. Today the other piece of plastic, a little
white ring at the clip end of the pen which had began to crack, broke leaving my
all but perfect pen looking as you might expect an expensive pen with a few
(plastic) shortcuts to look.

It's sturdy, has high-quality..., April 19, 2011
This review is from Zebra Sharbo X ST3 Pen Body Component - Silver
It's sturdy, has high-quality components, and looks great... but it's just not a
viable pen for the long-term. There is no "empty" spot, so you have to carry it
while it's rotated in between chambers, which seems silly to me for such an
expensive multi-pen. I want to love this pen, but my biggest gripe is that the
ink runs out way too fast. I have to carry around three extra refills with me
because I will run out in two to three days. I use this pen maybe two hours a
day. I used to used it everyday for all my university lectures, but it just kept
running out in the middle of class... That is just silly. Everything else is
almost perfect about this pen--balance, construction, look, weight, etc..
BUT, I would stay away from this pen. I bought a box of like 40 ink refills, but
that is going to add up BIG TIME over the long run. Also, I've had to "reload"
refills mid-lecture or meeting and it looks silly while I fumble around to do
so. I want to love the pen, but I just can't. If you can deal with the constant
refill changes/purchases, then buy this pen. Otherwise, stay away.
