At first I thought this would be a poor competitor to the 0.7mm Jetstream.
After a full shift at work using just this pen I can say I was wrong! The
Jetstream is only slightly smoother but the Surari is a tad darker. The writing
was a little scratchy at first but as the day went on this went away. The only
problem I had was that ink would glob on the tip of the pen and I'd have to wipe
it off. It would never get on the paper though.

I love the emulsion ink in this pen. It looks cheaply made, but it feels like a
very dependable pen.

Love this pen but one thing and it doesn't write well on Sustainable Earth by
Staples Paper. This is the main book I write in but it's GREAT on everything
else. Thanks, keep up the good work.

In comparison to the Jetstream Sport Black Fine, I find that the Surari's ink
generally flows less smoothly. The ease of writing is inconsistent between
different kinds of basic paper -- it writes great on some, and requires more
effort on others; I can't figure out exactly what it is about the particular
paper that causes this.
In contrast, the Jetstream writes consistently, reliably smoothly on any paper I
use.

Very high quality pen for writing in English, Japanese or Mandarine. Very good
price for a solid smooth writing pen.

I really liked this pen although I think it smeared some and ran out of ink a
little too early. :(

Near perfect ballpoint. Smooth writer, fast dryer.
This is a brilliant pen at an awesome price. Keep you eye on it or it will
disappear from your desk.

This pen is definitely comparable to the jetstream, though the ink does tend to
clot evey so often, causing though unbearable smudges :(! Having said that, it
is only once in a while that it smudges, so it's not really a problem. I would
definitely recommend!

Very good pen is comparable to the Uniball Jetstream. This is not exactly
smear-proof. The pen is well-built and durable. Definitely worth the money.

"Smear-proof" is, as always, a drastic overstatement.
Perfectly nice pen, though. Exactly what you'd expect.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Dark Black Body - Black Ink
This is one of my top "go-to" pens! It's great for everything- note taking,
signatures... It writes a thin, sharp, consistent line (which I love because my
lettering is so small); it does not bleed through, nor does it smudge (I am a
fast left-handed writer-so this is exactly what I look for in a pen). I believe
this pen has surpassed my love for my Hi-Tec Cs.
I WILL be ordering more of these.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Black Ink
As a writer who goes through a lot of pens and a lot of regrets, this one has
brightened my world. Usually I avoid ball point because it sticks and clogs up
fairly quickly, but I have yet to experience these issues with this pen and I've
been writing daily pages of jotted words and math problems for almost two
straight months with lots of ink to go. This is truly an extraordinary pen to
get! I would definitely recommend getting blue, black, and red for your next
school season or writing project!

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 1.0 mm - Blue Ink
This is a really terrific write! The barrel is nothing special, unfortunately,
but not bad. But the pen writes smoother and more evenly than my current
favorite, the JetStream. No skipping or bad writing even though the cartridge is
still 1/3 full...yet. I am going to doctor around with it and see if it can fit
my Jetstream Premier body for the cushier grip! Great pen!

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Black Ink
This is an overall very nice ballpoint pen! The ink flows smoothly, it has a
thin line, and the ink is dark for a ballpoint (though not as dark as a gel.) A
good pen for the price and good looking as well!

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.7 mm - Fluorescent Violet Ink
The ink writes smoothly on high quality paper, but on the regular notepads I use
daily at work, it tends to be a bit scratchy. The inner mechanism of the pen is
noisy and it's really bothersome while I'm writing. The color of the ink is
great, however.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Dark Black Body - Black Ink
On my ongoing search for the perfect ball point pen to illustrate and ink with,
I tried the Zebra Surari. Being a huge Zebra fan, I was really hoping this one
would pull through, but for my purposes, it didn't.
Pros:
- nice grip
- creates a think, but dark line
- light weight (could be a con depending on preference. I like lighter bodies)
Cons:
- blots very quickly if writing on an angle; thus creating varied line widths.
- will sometime drag ink threads
The blotting is a huge con. The only way to prevent a blotting tip from
happening is if you always write at a perfect 90 degree angle to your surface.
Even then, ink threads can appear at any time if you don't clean the tip at
varied intervals.
In the end, this is a perfect pen for simple note taking... but so is any other
fine tip pen you can purchase locally. Not worth the shipping costs you need to
shell out to get this pen online.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 1.0 mm - Black Ink
I LOVE this pen. I bought one of each color in 1.0 mm, 2 in black. The first day
I brought one to work, I let a nice old lady sign her receipt with it. BIG
MISTAKE. She kept saying how nice it writes. I turned around for a second, and
she was gone. With my pen. This pen is so awesome, sweet old ladies will steal
them from you. Since then, I bought 20 more to be safe. I put a bright orange
tag with my name inside the barrel as well, after another old lady tried
claiming it was hers. BEST PEN EVER. But watch out for those pen thieves.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 1.0 mm - Black Ink
This is easily the nicest, blackest, smoothest writing pen I have *EVER* used.
The fact that they charge under 2 bux for this is insanity. Absolutely the
best pen for the money. Just get one, you will be glad you did.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Dark Black Body - Black Ink
This pen's ink smears very badly. When writing normally, the ink still smears
even after 5 minutes.
I tried writing with it on an exam and the part I wrote with it was incredibly
messy.
I was very excited about getting this pen and I can't believe it turned out to
be so bad.

Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Dark Black Body - Black Ink
Love the pen, though it does blotch a little bit now and again. The ink is very
impressive. The clicker needs to be more stiff and of better quality, but that
isn't a deal breaker for me. The size and wait has a nice balance, but it
doesn't scream the usual quality that zebra usually puts forth. I'd grab it!
And yes...the .5 feels a little thin with a little more scratching than
anticipated. These fault force me to give this pen a 4.0. I'd like to see what
zebra has in store next for this Emulsion ink wonderment.
