I love this pen. I am a pen junkie and this have become one of my favorites. I write small and this pen writes so fine, I just love it.

Amazing pen! Its sleek smooth pen that flows brilliantly when you write with a very fine point. The pen design itself is amazing just like the photo vibrant and colorful! I will be ordering more soon!

I had a similar experience to the user below who said it left blotches of ink when writing. I do like the way it writes. Very fine. But occasionally it will leave splotches of ink as I write and that's not good.

The Zebra Techno Line 0.4mm gives same width on regular notebook paper as Staedler Mars 924 0.2mm. But the look of lines absolutely different, Staedler writes smooth, solid, clean, black lines. Writing with Zebra pen have small feel of scratching a paper, not smooth, not solid, but yes it does still black lines.
Conclusion: $2.00 is best price for Zebra Techno Line pen.

So it turned out that I had a defect and I got another one that writes really well. So I take back what I said about this pen because it does write well and is worth getting.

I bought this pen looking for one of the smallest mm sizes possible. This one does the trick ! I wish the pink one was in stock, but I settled for this color. Writes in dark, black ink. The lines are crisp and thin, just what I was looking for. So far the ink comes out fairly smooth. I also bought a refill knowing that I will be using this often.

I've tried the finest-point Slicci, Hi-Tec-C, and Signo. I had high hopes for all of them. Unfortunately, none of those three pens lasted even a week under light usage on a Moleskine notebook. The only pen that has been with me for months now has been the Zebra Techno Line Ballpoint Pen. Even though it says 0.4mm its line is virtually identical to the others. I highly recommend the Zebra pen.

This pen writes super small, so it is perfect for writing in the margins of books and paper, even in between lines. In the beginning it does leave blotches that smear, but the longer you use it, the less it smears and eventually stops smearing altogether. Great pen!

I absolutely love this pen, with the only exception being that I prefer blue ink over black. Have asked, but apparently not available in blue at the moment. Didn't stop me from buying lots of them and sharing with staff and friends. I am a heavy Zebra pen fan. Guess I should have been a pen sells person!

I thought this pen looked pretty which was one of the reasons I purchased it, however I was really disappointed when I received it and found out it's very scratchy and horrible to write with. The ink is very inconsistent as pointed out by some other reviewers. If you are looking for a fine pen which looks nice, I highly recommend the Uni-ball Jetstream pens!

One of my favorite pens. Wonderful for small writing, lettering and sketching. I like the (very slight) drag the nib has, since it makes it easier to control. I use mine every day and have never had a problem with blotches.

:( I should have read the reviews more closely before purchasing this pen. I was super excited to receive it and tried it out right away. The ink is inconsistent when you write and sometimes the pen leaves little ink splotches. The $1.65 ballpoints I purchased at the same time work better than this. :(

Although I truly loved the beautiful body, it was meant for a better ink inside. It was incredibly scratchy and the "black" ink turned out to be gray. My friend commented on how it so much looked like pencil.....

Inconsistent ink flow. Writes a very thin line. Will not be writing letters with this pen.

I love this pen. It's definitely one of the best pens I've every owned. I bought a couple 10 or 11 years ago at one of the department stores in Ginza. Every trip back I've searched for it and have never found it. I can't tell you how excited I am to see that you carry it!

Sorry, but I am not impressed with this pen. The pen seems to drag and at times the point seems to catch on the paper. The 0.4mm point is too fine. Your written text is difficult to read.

If you like dim ink and scratchy, draggy line, then this pen is for you. Love the purple though.

In my case, that I really love fine written, It's great! But I haven't been finding more in Brazil. I bought some in Shopping center of Recife-PE, Since then no more. I would like find it again. Overall I like the size and weight of this pen but the 0.4mm refill is scratchy and skips occasionally. I ended up putting in an SK-0.7 refill in it. It still writes fine enough for me and is less scratchy.

I love how this pen is very fine. I wish it was a little bit longer in size. It's very smooth and does an excellent job for the price!

Simply great! I use this pen to make notes next to the text in books etc. This pen enables you to write very small, but still readable. It is the thinnest writing ballpoint pen I know of. I used fineliners before, but on a lot of paper types used for printed books they tend to bleed a lot, eventually still leaving you with a thick line and messy writing.
Also thumbs up for JetPens in general. Easy ordering and very fast shipping to Europe (NL).

This has become one of my most favorite pens for school. The compact body doesn't take up much room in my pencil bag, and the line is thin enough to fit long words into those ridiculously small spaces they give you on worksheets! I also like the grip: my fingers never slip off of it!

This pen writes very fine, and a little too fine for note book paper, for me, this pen is a little scratchy, on notebook paper, but on journal paper, it's great.
It's one of those pens, you pull out, when you need to write small, and make very good use of the notepad in which you are writing in. Very sexy color for the barrel. You will love it, if you are a fan of fine-line writing.
