The Pilot Parallel Pens are available in 1.5 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.8 mm and 6.0 mm sizes. Each set comes with one Parallel Pen, one red ink cartridge, one black ink cartridge, a cleaning converter, and instruction booklet. You can follow the examples in the instruction booklet to create beautiful calligraphy for your writing needs.

To use the pen, simply insert the cartridge into the pen. The ink should start flowing soon after. To create beautiful color gradation you will need two pens with two different color ink cartridges. Hold the pens vertically and touch one nib to the other nib, then hold for several seconds.

The color from the top pen will be transferred to the bottom pen! The longer you hold the pens together, the more ink will be transferred. As you write with the bottom pen you will see a unique blend of colors that will slowly fade out as the transferred ink is used up. It will be a very elegant touch to any project!
