Article: How to Refill Lead for Multi-pens

Since multi-pens have multiple writing instruments in one body, the lead for the mechanical pencil component has to be refilled from the bottom rather than the top. This works for not only the Zebra Clip-On Multi-pen, but also for many of the multi-pens JetPens carries. Refilling your multi-pen with lead is easy, just follow these simple steps!

How:

1. Unscrew the body of your multi-pen. Pull out the tip of your mechanical pencil. (Some multi-pens require you to pull out the entire mechanical pencil tube rather than just the tip.)

2. While holding the body upside down, add more lead into the mechanical pencil tube.

3. Push the tip of your mechanical pencil back in.

4. Screw the body back together and you're done!

Now you're ready for another round of creative writing!
