Ester Wilson loves texture, color and sketchbooks. She's been drawing for the past 28 years, either doodling, creating art for award-winning films, drawing intricate master copies for study, or just plain having fun with her favorite markers. Ester's wide variety of styles and mediums is a delight to see, and her online sketchbook collection features an inspiring look into her personal journals.
"I was first introduced to drawing in the late 70's when boys in my second grade class in Frankfort, Kentucky competed to see who could draw the coolest cars," Eric Warman recalls. "Although my car designs were a bit weak, I was great at drawing flames." When Warman subsequently won a poster contest, he was hooked, but his efforts to study art in school were soon thwarted. "I couldn't get in the class." Eventually, in a moment that would prove pivotal, an English teacher spotted his talent and had him placed in art class. Eric went on to to graduate from Murray State University with a BS in Art with an emphasis in Drawing.

Pictures from Eric: As a 3-D environment artist in the video game industry, Eric has just only recently started drawing with pen and ink again. He has armed himself with an arsenal of Comic Pen tools from Kuretake and Tachikawa, as well as various Sakura Micron pens. Even after all these years, Eric has certainly not missed a step with these beautiful and hilarious portraits.
Reese T. Chamness is originally from East Tennessee, where he graduated with a BFA in studio art from East Tennessee State University in 2009. For the past year, he has been living and working in New York City. Although he can't remember when he started drawing, it has always been a part of who he is. When he was young, his mom would limit the number of items he was allowed to carry in his pockets, many of which were pens. Even now, he still tends to carry at least 3 pens and a pencil with him everyday.
