Fine fountain pens

As they improve, guitarists gradually acquire pedals for reverb and gain and flange, PC gamers acquire expensive graphics cards, snowboarders become downright gleeful about jumping from lethal heights... and fountain pen owners start to hunt for demonstrator pens, 14k gold nibs, and piston fillers.

The Pilot Petit Pen system is back!

We were met with much dismay when news broke out that the Petit line was being discontinued. The pens have evoked a deep affection out of their rabid fan base for their fun colors, compact yet comfortable size, affordability, and fine performance. Because of this, we've received so many inquiries about the status and whereabouts of the pens when they disappeared. Having previously had to deliver unfortunate news about the Petit Pens, we're now much more pleased and excited to announce that these pens have returned!

What makes the Kaweco Special AL Fountain Pen so ... special? 125 years of history combined with beautiful design and materials for starters.

The Special AL barrel is fabricated from anodized solid aluminum with a black matte finish. An octagonal body gives this fountain pen a unique look, as does the cap, which can screw on to the end of the barrel to post.

Since the Special AL is a full-sized pen, it will take both short and long international ink cartridges as well as a converter. The iconic silver Kaweco logo is a nice added touch on the cap.

These pens were so well received we sold out of them almost immediately. Now is the time to add them to your wish list and sign up for the restock notification. They will go fast once they come back in so be prepared!

For more on the history and future of Kaweco, be sure to read our recent interview with CEO Michael Gutberlet.
