The Pilot 2+1 Miyabi Emaki Multi Pens recently graced JetPens as elegant masterpieces of Japanese culture and beauty. Before taking a closer look at the pens themselves, let's delve into the inspiration behind the Pilot 2+1 Miyabi Emaki. April 27, 2011 - Posted by Elizabeth to Multi Pens
To refill the eraser component in the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto Multi Pen you just need to insert the refill eraser into the tip of the multi pen!
First, make sure that you are clicking down on the tab for the eraser component before inserting the eraser refill. If the tab is not clicked down, you will not be able to fully install the eraser refill. Insert the side with the little plastic rod first. While holding down the eraser component tab, insert the eraser refill all the way until it stops. The new refill should stop with a little bit of the eraser tip left out, when the tab is still clicked. Now you are ready to start erasing again! April 15, 2011 - Posted by Elizabeth to Multi Pens
The Uni-ball Style Fit multi pen system is a very customizable line. You can have anywhere from 3-5 different components, choosing from pen refills available in gel ink or oil-based ballpoint ink, and also a mechanical pencil component.

To refill the lead in your Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto multi pen, you must first remove the pencil component altogether from the pen body.
Then, hold the component tip-side up while grasping the main metal tube, and remove the lead mechanism piece The piece should come off right where the metal tube ends and the white plastic piece begins. Insert your refill lead, then put the component back together. After you place the pencil component back into your Coleto multi pen, you're ready to go! (A good tip to know is that most of our multi pens with pencil components refill in the same way!) April 11, 2011 - Posted by Elizabeth to Multi Pens
To insert the ink or pencil components into the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto multi pen bodies, first open the cap at the top of the pen body:
(the cap can be stuck on pretty tightly, but use of a fingernail under the tab will help open it up) Then, slide in the components inside the little spring with the pen tip going in first. The corresponding push buttons have small tabs on the side, which need to slide into the matching spaces. Repeat as necessary to fill all of the available spaces in your Coleto pen. After you have put in all the components to fill you Colet multi pen, simply close the top cap with a *click* and viola! You're done!
