Dong-A Popcorn Puffy Paint Pen - 10 Color Set

Today, I'm going to talk about how to use a specialty pen that's available at JetPens.com, the Popcorn Pen. This pen's really unique, it's great for crafts, and it's a lot of fun to use decorating cards, and for other creative uses. It comes in 10 colors and it creates an interesting puffed up texture when used.

The first step to using this pen is to make sure the nib is pressed onto the paper. You can draw any design that you want, and just make sure that you squeeze the barrel to have the ink come out, and that the nib is pressed into the paper. Always cap it after, of course, so that it doesn't dry out.

If you see the two differing styles, this is before and after. Before, if you leave it to dry like this, you'll have a nice, glossy 3D ink texture on your crafts. If you use a blowdryer on it, it'll puff up to create this 3D popcorn effect.

Before the ink is dry, you have to take a blowdryer on high heat, and put it near the ink, as close as possible, without touching it.

The higher heat you put on it, and the longer you put it for, the more puffy this 3D ink will become. So as you can see, it's puffed up to make this interesting 3D texture that you can have a lot of fun with on your crafts.

So just remember to do three things when you use these popcorn pens:

-Make sure the nib is pressed against the paper.

-Squeeze the barrel.

-Put the blowdryer on high heat on the ink before it dries.

You can create a lot of fun things with it! Enjoy!
