Archival quality gel ink, narrow barrel, fine point

bardharlock - 27 Feb 2009, 01:59 pm
Hello all. First time poster here. I journal daily along with note-taking and also do some fiction writing when my muse overtakes me whilst away from my handy keyboard.

I am rather in love with the Zebra F-301 .5mm pens, but archival quality, waterproof, acid-free, fairly quick drying ink is necessary and Zebra seems to only be offering the narrow barrel refills for the G-301 in .7mm.

So I come to you, JetPens forumites, in humble supplication, for advice on a pen that might feel close to a Zebra F-301 with some of the same features (narrow barrel, lightweight, retractable, refillable) with about the same balance in a .5 - .3mm archival quality ink pen.

Thank you in advance for all recommendations.

Cheers,
Brian Scott

ETA: Checking out the JP sales site I notices the Pentel Hybrid Technica Retractable Gel Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Black . Can anyone tell me if this is fairly narrow?
