What color ink do you prefer writing in Black or Blue? I'm curious to see what's more popular!

Woah! I didn't a lot of people prefer Black Ink over Blue - though I wonder why?

I write in black because it is the most university accepted (aka business) color. But my favorite color is blue. I like the brighter, more electric blues. As far as gel pens go I have more in black than any other color. But s far as my newly acquired fountain pen collection goes, I have more blue inks than any other color! 8)

This is some great stuff! Keep it coming!!
Personally I like writing in Black Ink - for some reason when I write in Blue ink it tends to smudge a lot.

I use black and blue inks when I have to, but prefer the darker saturated colors that can still be used for business: deep purples, pine greens, deep teals, rich burgandies among others.
I love expressing myself with a wide variety of ink colors. It is, quite literally, a trademark of mine. Granted, I work for myself in an artistic field, but my invoices, receipts, etc. are always signed with "non-traditional" colors. If it was blue or black -- a customer would have a good idea it was fraudulent.
