.......... Am I wrong for wanting to spend another $50-$100 on more pens even though I have about 45 in my collection now.....?

I duno..... I love the UM-100s and the Pentel Slicci's.... and I feel like buying every single model they make in all colors - .4, .5 and .7mm sizes.............

I'm in a similar position. Except I'm using the money I get for my birthday to buy the pens :))

Only 45 pens! Novice! I have over 250 and I have no where near the totals some folks have! I think the winner has like 2,000!

Crazy? Maybe...ok yes ...definately...

My problem is when I find a pen I like, I usually buy the entire rack of them, so I will never run out.
Ultra Fine pens are my weakness..at any given time in my purse I will have three to four sets of pens..(packs of 5,10, or 20), different styles to give myself some options...
you never know when there will be a pen emergency........not that I would lend anyone my pen(s)..

..thats just crazy talk... :shock:

I guess there could always be a worse addiction....right?....right?

LOL Gunman...... The thing is... in almost everything else, i am an absolutely minimalist... that's why I am hesitant to make another JP purchase..... I have many pens that i bought because they looked cool, i used them once and dont even use them anymore... i use maybe 15 diff pens per week but they are the same 15... the others chill in the pencil case....

but i agree with something i read on here - life is too short to use cheap supplies.... or something like that.. which is why i think im going to be making another purchase soon...

heh. I feel about as bad.
"I want more fountain pens and I don't use all the ones I have on a daily basis already...."
The other pens I get, I've taken to getting extras when they're on sale and keeping them in my drawer-o-pens, and then giving them as gifts when people need pens.
It helps if I can get great deals on something and manage to give it away as a gift....but I keep all my jetpens....

right now I'm deciding if I want to take the plunge with a Lamy Safari or get another penmanship and finally get a black platinum preppy in the 03 size...and maybe a highlighter....
