Here's a pic of the old G2 metallic colors (I'm trying to post it - if it doesn't show up below, that means I couldn't figure out how to do it). I also can't remember whether the purple shade is called purple or violet (I have a feeling it was violet). The colors are:
- pink
- green
- blue
- violet/purple
- bronze
- silver
- gold

Japan's Pilot website doesn't show the G2 (0.7mm size) in metallics any more, so I guess they have discontinued them. Too bad - I hate it when good pen companies discontinue models that you like!
Their Japanese site *does* show five metallic colors, though, for the
G-KNOCK pen. The ink refill is the same as the G2's - just a different shell/casing. I've tried the some G-Knock metallics, and the grip was quite rubbery-grippy and nice. But I've tried the G-Knock also in a regular color like blue, and the grip material seemed different - not as rubbery, soft, or grippy. More slippery.
I think the some of the G2 Metallic colors are available from
One's Better Living in the Toronto Scarborough area. Maybe if you call them, they can sell you some via mail.
I can't get the Img tag to work above, so I pasted the URL.
