That's beautiful! Did you paint it on? I think that's one of the best Easter eggs I've ever seen.

(Btw, what is that blue pen in the front?)

Nope, its a "washi egg" from http://threetreetea.com/ (formally MasaLisa of Seattle,WA). It is a hollowed out egg covered with pretty japanese prints. and covered with some sort of clear lacquer. I got a couple of them while I was sipping some tea there. I forgot who the artist was but she also made pretty pillows and placemats recycled from old kimonos. And yes. And yes, i love tea..and pretty pens too.

The pen in the front is a japanese Pilot Multiball. Super smooth and pretty blue, what else do you want? Supposedly you can write on any surface like glass and stuff, but not much luck with that for me. I've also requested these pens in the forum. Please get them!! as well as those Coletos. :D

I love that egg, I have never heard of washi eggs before. I just did a Google on them, and they're gorgeous! Now I want one.

The Pilot Multiball looks neat! I would like to try that pen as well. :)

Sure, you can post any picture I put up here on JetPics.

Dudley, those pens are all Uni-Ball Signo UM-100 and the Erasable Uni-Ball Signos. The piggy is adorable! I think it's just a little statue thing. I have a slightly bigger one that is a piggy bank.

Btw, Dudley-I just noticed that Rubiks Cube in the background displaying the date...are those common, or have I just been living under a rock? It's awesome!
Dudleylau - 09 Nov 2005, 05:58 pm
Oh, that. Real Rubik's Perpetual calendar cubes are REALLY expensive cause they are indeed rare and made in the 1980's. I really wanted one to play, not collect, so i bought some blank stickers and printed them out, its fun! and actually can have any date you want.

Dudleylau - 15 Nov 2005, 05:57 pm
