does anyone know of a Japanese store in the San Diego area that would carry an assortment of pens that we could find on jetpens? i recall there was a Misyuaka(?) bookstore in the area but I believe it closed down. I'm not too familiar with any Japanese stores that would carry these types of things but I'm hoping maybe some helpful being on the forums could help me out. any information you have is greatly appreciated! take care!

There is a store called Sanseido. it is inside another store, Mitsuwa market place. it by Book off.

The address it 4240 Kearny Mesa Rd. #119 San Deigo CA 92111

It kind of expensive. The stationary is almost the same price a Jetpens.
It has Kokuyo Campus notebooks, pens, pencils and stuff like that. It also sell manga, magazines, and etc. It sell mostly japanese stuff there. There is this store called Marukai place that is also near Mitsuwa marketplace and it a like a $1 store and it also sell pens and stuff like that.

Hope this help. :D

hey thanks for that info. i ended up finding mitsuwa in san diego and went into the sanseido bookstore. they had a small selection of pens and stationery, but definitely not that large of a selection as compared to a few other stores that are in mitsuwa's other locations. i'll have to try and go to marukai and see if there selection is any better. thanks!!

Marukai's selection is really good. They have a nice variety and usually have everything in stock. Prices aren't bad either.
