Looking for nice paper

DragonN - 24 Mar 2009, 10:42 pm
Hi, I just found this site and ordered some pencils, but it would be nice to have some fine, lined paper for notetaking too but too bad jetpens doesn't have them yet. Is there any recommendation for a certain type of paper I can find for notetaking/keeping? I find those filler paper (3hole punched looseleave) very poor quality.... I am still a newbie in the pen/pencil world, but I think I'm going to be addict to them now that I found this site. Just want to find nice paper to go along with these super pencils.

Any "paper" with a higher rag content is going to be a better quality "paper" than wood pulp paper. The higher the rag content the better the quality of paper. The better quality paper the better the size. The better quality the size the better the paper takes ink and graphite. All the way up to 100% rag content, no wood pulp used at all. But you will pay for such quality!

I would say that the better named brands of writing pads will provide you with a relatively inexpensive, medium quality wood pulp paper that should fit your needs just fine. Take a look at Staples on-line, Office Depot as well, and see what you can find.

Hi There,
Try going to these sites, I think you will find some paper that you will really like, I just received a Clairefontaine notebook and it is very smooth and delightful.

Hi, I look at the Clairefontaine notebook/paper too, and that what I used when I was in Vietnam!! They are very nice, a bit pricey but the shipping kills... :( if they do 25 $ free shipping then it is buyable for me! I am a college student so..... hoping to find some nice paper and stationary to motivate me to sit and study throughoutly.. ahhahahaha Thanks anyway!
