there you have a pen body and in these pen body you put special pen nibs....i think....do yo have to dip the pen in ink to write? and what is the difference in the nibs?

Yes, they are dip pens, like calligraphy pens. There is a handle that you insert the curved end into, like a calligraphy dip pen (same handle, really). A small amount of ink is deposited onto the nib during the dipping process and some may have to be removed so as not to blob on the paper. The different nibs are made from different alloys of metal, sometimes steel, sometimes brass, and have different flex qualities. A hard nib with a fine point will flex very little, if at all, under normal pressure and will produce a very fine line. The softer nibs will produce a fine line but under increased pressure produce a slightly wider line. With some nibs the harder you press the wider the line width. The trade off is that some of these nibs will scratch the surface of the paper if you press too hard or hold the nib incorrectly. These nibs are mainly used for drawing but can be used for writing. In fact the Magna nibs were derived form writing nibs and many writing nibs are suitable for drawing.

Hope that this helps. :D

Wow those pens are really cool. Looks like you get some really nice fine lines.
