Manga/comic supplies

It seems that jetpens deals solely with pen enthusiasts and other nitch market purchasers. As an artist I have wondered about the market for foreign stationary and why jetpens hasn’t taken advantage of the growing interest in manga comics. I don’t suggest selling comics but I would suggest jetpens might import products produced in Japan for the specific purpose of comic illustration.

Since artist want to use what the manga artists are using why not provide them. There are crow quill nibs, brushes and illustration markers exclusive to Japan that have never seen wide distribution in the USA.

My favorite so far is a Refillable fountain pen made specifically for manga illustration by
TACHIKAWA.

Hmm.. I think jetpens already do provide this sort of items, for example the recently inventorized Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pens & Accessories. The category 'brush pens and calligraphy' deals with this pretty well. Jetpens also has the popular sakura pigma microns which are commonly used by manga artists to ink their work.

However, I guess it could stand to add the ever popular copics to their line. One reason for not having so many of these artist items is that artists represent a relatively smaller population of the clientelle compared to students and or jpen enthusiasts... :?

I can attest to the fact that Tachikawa makes awesome refillable fountain pens that are used for drawing called 'School G'. Their manga nibs (G, maru and saji) are so wonderful to use, and are hard to find.

If you search the internet, there are growing interests and need for these items. Many are singing praises, especially the G-nibs.

It would be awesome if one could buy these pen/nib from Jetpens. As an international customer, I love it that Jetpens have cheaper shipping options, thus the reason why I keep buying from them.
