New Pens

I recently picked up some new additions to my collection at a local walmart. I
got a two pack of Black Pilot Vball RT's that came with a Red Pilot Precise V7.
Has any body used these before? What do you think?

I have not tried the Vballs in RT format, but have two in stick format. They are nice.....the only complaint I have about them is the rubber grip annoys me.....it's too grippy. I like a more slippery plastic with just some ribbing or whatnot. Other than the body, I like these much better than the Precise needlepoints. I'm considering trying one of the VBall RTs as it might be a good combination....with the fine point in a RT format. It looks to me like the Precise V5 and V7 refills may fit the VBall RT bodies, and vice versa. If so, I'll get VBall refills for my Precises then they run out. I like the flat ended body style of the Precise stick pens, but otherwise prefer the VBalls over the Precise ones. But, that's my preference...I'm sure others have other opinions. Basically, though, they should be good pens, and if they're what you like, then that's what matters.

I like the smoothness of both the RT's, but I like the look of a needle point vs the conical point. I also have the V Ball Grip. To me all the V Balls write the same, same goes for the Precise V's as well, regardless of format. So pick the one you like.

Yes, Michael, as far as I have experienced, all Pilot RT refills will interchange with each other.
