Notebooks
elliewix - 25 Apr 2008, 09:27 pm
I went to the front page today and saw the parallel pen refill and thought they were notebooks. Sad!
I would love to buy some campus notebooks, but I've never been able to find them where I am or online. Will JetPens ever expand into paper products?

Yes, we will be getting Campus notebooks eventually. Thanks for your patience, they're a little heavy to import so we're working out the logistics.

Chances are most of us are well acquainted with the moleskine fad as well. However, because the moleskine is pricey, there quite a few 'alternatives' in Asia such as the monologue notebook which I have heard isn't available outside of Asia. May be a good idea:idea: to look into thos?

I actually meant to post about hoping you guys would get in the Monologue notebooks, and these pads by the same company: http://www.grandluxe.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_75&products_id=189

^ Yeah that :D While I understand it's jetPENS and not jetPADS, why don't we just throw these into the suggestion box as well since we're along the lines of quality writing pads:

Not that I buy many, but Campus notebooks would almost make my reasons to visit the bookstores obsolete, lol.

Where do you live that they are so close?

I think the Popular bookstore in Singapore stocks Campus notebooks

Hi, if do not live close to any Japanese bookstore like Kinokuniya, i suppose you can try out ebay. There are sellers that sell Kokuyo, Campus notebooks. Its where I get my notebooks from while waiting for JetPens to bring it in. :)

I live in New Jersey. There is a Japanese bookstore in Manhattan, New York that many people on this site visit (this site is actually where I found out about it) called "Kinokuniya". There is also a small Japanese "mall" in Edgewater, New Jersey that has a bookstore called "Sanseido". Both of them carry lots of Japanese stationery goods. While Kinokuniya has a much larger selection and variety of items, Sanseido's prices tend to be a little cheaper and they usually don't run out of stock like Kinokuniya does sometimes.
Both of these stores are chains and have locations worldwide.
Hope that helped.

We also have several kinokuniyas here and the supplier of their stationery is this chain called 'NBC' which has several stores in Singapore. They have pretty updated japanese stationery as I have already seen the new 'kuru toga's in stock! :P
