I have an old Schaeffer fountain pen; no particular mark, but it was one of the school line. Plastic body, chrome cap, medium nib. It takes the 2" long refill cartridges, and I would love to find a proper converter for it, so that I may start using it with some of the bottled inks.
Would love to hear back from anybody with some suggestions.
Thanks!

Is the body a clear colored plastic? Mine did and I used Peacock Blue ink cartridges in them! Wow! I had all but forgotten about that until now! Thanks for reviving a long forgotten pleasant memory! Unless Schaeffer made converters before they stopped making the pens, then you may not be able to find one! You may want to pose your question on The Fountain Pen Network forum. The people on that forum are nuts... about fountain pens!

Unfortunately, no, it is a red body. I can use the cartridges from Staples, so, I'm sure there must be a converter. I'd prefer to get one from JetPens, but, I want to know it will work before I experiment...
