OK, for some time now it seems that we have been bantering around the names "Penholic" and Penaholic" as the proper term for our addiction/obsession. So I'm gonna put it to the vote. Which shall it be? Vote once, but vote soon as I'm only gonna let it stand for 30 days!

Are you accepting altenatives? I rather like "pen geek". Penaholic doesn't sound linguistically acceptable. :lol:

I'm talking about the name for an affliction that affects who knows how many billions, eh, millions, eh, hundreds of thousands, eh, tens of thousands?, eh would you believe those of us on the forum?... Anyway, the two terms describe not only the affliction but the afflicted as well! Pen Geek simply describes the person afflicted. The affliction itself would have to be called "Pen Geekism"! Can you imagine telling someone that you have "Pen Geekism"? They give you a dirty look and say something like, " Oh, I'm so sorry! How long do you have left?". When you say that you are a Penholic or a Penaholic you get a knowledgeable look of recognition and understanding! And dare I say it, yes, even respect!
