So I purchased a Platinum Double 3 Multipen about 3 weeks ago and it was working pretty okay up until about a week ago. I bought Pilot Hi-Tec-C Slims 0.3mm gel ink refills for the pen, but for some reason, the Black gel ink has suddenly dried up a bit. It still puts down some ink, but it's very faded and I have to press down really hard to get any semblance of a continuous line when I write. It was never a particularly smooth writer in the first place, but it was better than it is now, so is there anything I can do to get the gel flowing again?

Also, another problem I noticed just today: the mechanical pencil mechanism seems to be broken. I click it continuously but no lead comes out. Furthermore, when I remove the multipen's "nose cone," the mechanical pencil component seems to be more extended than the pen components. Any suggestions for fixing this?
