This is available in the US, but not easily. Unlike other brush pens available in the U.S. (which are like felt-tip markers with brush-shaped felt), the brush is actually a brush -- nylon strands. I like practicing calligraphy with these because it actually turns out looking like I was using a brush (which I was!). :)
