Sheaffer DELTA GRIP bp - anyone have info. or leads?

I posted the message below on FPN's forums; I hope maybe someone here might have some useful info., too. Smile :

I'd like to get my hands on 1 or 2 Sheaffer DELTA GRIP bp's, but they've been discontinued for awhile, and I haven't found any online yet. These are near the top of my wish list, because they have a nice fat grip, and I am assuming that their writing quality would be fairly good, since they are Sheaffers and retailed for roughly $9-11 (from what I've seen online).

Does anyone here have experience with using these, and can you provide some comments on how they performed? I specifically am interested about:

- Were their grips as fat and as comfortable as they look? The grips look fatter than most fat/ergo ballpoints available now, including Pilot's DR. GRIP, Itoya's XENON, etc.

- Was the ink nice and smooth, or was it typical old-school skippy, blotchy ink that required a lot of downward pressure to get a dark, even line?

- Are there any available anywhere, especially in the lime green and tangerine (orange) colors??

I hope someone has some info. to share! Thanks.
