How bout a design contest?? or maybe pencil carving contest?? or maybe who sends the best gift to jetpens for X-mas??

And what kind of designing contest should be held?? it's all up for grabs. maybe something for the upcoming holidays? or maybe the gift card designing? i'm seeing people talking about gift cards, so maybe like, for whoever's giftcard design is the best will win the first gift card filled with five bucks or something small like that? And of course it has to be (jet)pens related right??

And how about "Jetpen photo" contest? where pens can be umm.. artistic without having actually being used to write with and have a photo competion?? got the idea from that nice closeup of the hi-tec-see picture in gallery. we can also use that to brighten up the page too like having a larger gallery section devoted to pens. Cause honestly, I wish the pictures in the descriptions would be a little larger, and more reallistic looking so it would help me in deciding which pens i want, without having to look at other pages.

Hmm...I know this is spinning off from "pen-themed" contest ideas, but how about other things people are talented with? We can find out what people are interested in and have little contests to get people to post more in the forums. For example, the creative uses thread is really lacking posts....

I think a lottery would be fun too. As in, every customer who buys something (you can even set a limit to it, like they have to buy 5 products or more) gets their name written down. Then at the end of the month, all the names go into a hat, a customer is picked at random, and they get a free *insert item here*. I thought this was a fun idea, but now that it's all written out, it sounds like a lot of work...

Ok...we're chewing on your guys' ideas. Hm, we had a T-shirt giveaway for submissions to JetPens but we didn't get too many photos. Bad publicity? What if we continued the free T-shirt w/ every photo entry (in addition to other design contests yet TBD)?

Aw man, because jetpens has this flickr contest thing and there's a winner every month!

I know, let's see who can honestly use the name JetPens in a single post the most! Not just JetPens over and over again but in honest reference to the store during a true discussion! The winner (each month) could receive credit towards a purchase from JetPens! :wink:

OK, maybe the count could be spread out over the entire month. Posts not meeting the rules would be discounted. 8)
