My (self) justification for buying these is because I spend soOOOOO much time in school, I may as well have the best instruments in my hands. So I bought a wide-range of pens just to see which ones I would like. So when I narrow down my preferences, I will be ordering extra lead/ink refills for the pens which I like most out of the bunch.

The two pencil cases - the top loading one I ordered will be for school/class use while the larger one will stay at home and be the case for my collection.

I only ordered 1 pencil because I am currently using a Zebra M-301 .5mm mechanical pencil and I absolutely love it. I've had it for a year now and do all my math work using it. I will see how much I like the Kuru Toga once I get it...

I forgot to add the pen I bought at Kino's... I got a Uni-ball Signo MC3 which came out to like $7.50 after taxes =X it's like the mercedes of my fleet.

If you were in New York, I would give you my kuru toga for free or trade it for a cup of starbucks coffee. I am in love with my Promecha pencil! you gotta try one.

I feel like my pen addiction is at it's peak having spent about $140 within 3 weeks time. And I think my search for the perfect pen is over. I have settled on the Uniball UM-100 pen in a .5mm size. I bought a black one today and will be buying a couple in blue and a couple of dark blue. This thing feel incredible when you're writing with it and it's a tie between this pen and my jetstream .5mm (blue) pen for smoothest writing.

I have also been using my jetstraem 1.0mm pen to write in my Moleskine journal and it is absolutely amazingly smooth. It's really bold but it stands out nicely on graph paper.

The green .7mm UM-100 i bought simply b/c i wanted to test out the .7mm size. let me just simply say that it sucks! the .5mm and .7mm are a world apart, and the .5mm is better / easier to write with.

i have been trying to find a single pen that has a similar feel when writing to my uniball mc3 .5mm multi pen. i bought the uniball um-100s and they feel close but something still feels off - i cant put my finger on it.

writing with my .5mm multi pen seems so much more precise than with the uniball um-100 in .5mm that i bought.. i dont know what the difference is.... so hopefully, when this order comes in, i'll have the right pen! or i'll determine that it was the um-100 all along! LOL
