OK, someone didn't like having only 2 choices for what to call our affliction so I've started a new poll. Cast your vote, even if you were the only other one who had voted, and if you choose "Other" then PLEASE post an alternative. Thank you. :)

Just a few there, but you have to bear in mind that it's not so much a "pen" issue, as most of us love all things that are useful for writing, drawing, creative, whatever uses. So, pens, pencils, paints, brushes, markers, pastels, chalks, crayons, and so on all interest us. We tend to love art and office supply stores. Neat and useful stationery items get us salivating too. So, it's not just one writing instrument, or even just writing instruments alone that we have a common interest in. It's *all* that stuff, and sometimes more. So, I'm not sure a reference to a single element of that is best.

But....if I had to describe myself in regards to my interest in pens and ink, I kinda like the Pen Hound moniker. It doesn't cover it all....only a part of my interest, but it's a term that is palatable and doesn't necessarily try to be the be all description....while also leaving other interests open as well, of course. So....just some thought on the matter..... :wink:

I agree. It is a fascination with all things stationery/office supply/writing. It would be great to come up with a cool name for the "affliction" as well as a moniker for the "afflicted". :lol:
