Favorite Blue
uni PowerTank Blue - perfect blue for a ballpoint pen. It's dark enough to be easy to read and is is a nice vibrant blue
Pilot Hi-Tec-C Blue - awesome color! It looks beautiful. Not too light and not too dark

Favorite Black
Most gel pen blacks are pretty black. I guess the Gelly Roll's black looks a little watered down if you compare to other colors. Some of my favorites are the Dr. Grip gel ink.
For ballpoint blacks, I like the Dr. Grip G-Spec & the Pentel RSVP because both of these are really dark! I noticed that a lot of regular ballpoint pen's blacks are pretty light :(
For fountain pen, I like Noodler's Black Ink. Such a black color. It's great!

Uni-Ball Signo
Pentel Energel
Pilot Petit1 Cherry Pink - all these colors are a brighter more vibrant fresh red, not the darker duller reds in some pens

Favorite Green
Uni-Ball Signo, Pentel Sunburst - again the fresher greens on the bunch

Favorite Purple
Definitely Uni-Ball Signo hands down - very fresh bright purple
For fountain pen, I like Private Reserve's Tarzanite - this color looks like those purply carbon copies (yes, remember when copies where purple instead of black?) I got when I was in elementary school (my elementary school had old technology...I'm not really that old, yet.)

Favorite Orange
Uni-Ball Signo - nice subtle orange.

Favorite Brown
don't really have a favorite here yet since I don't use much browns.

Favorite Highliter Color
Classic Fluorescent Yellow - because it's easy to read and it's classic!

Favorite Blue
I love the Pilot Multiball blue, its lighter blue but dark enough to be soothing to the eyes. What can i say? it's jsut the right hue for blue. I like writing with blue black too.
Favorite Black
Tough one, because i dont use it that much. All i know is that i hate most ball point black. they're not rich enough to have the true feel of what black is supposed to be. I like most gel black. But I think i like the Pilot Toughwash black the best. cause it has a nice black "shimmer" (if you can call it that), and looks nice on plastic too =D.
Favorite Red
Pilot's hi-tec-c's Wine Red. Its not quite red (a little fuschia-ish) but has a nice bounce. Had to describe, since in different lights it looks different, maybe that gives it alot more personality than normal reds. I also like slightly darker reds too, like maybe blood red or maroonish red? but cant really find a pen that has just the right amount of darkness to it.
Favorite Green
my favorite would be hi-tec-c hunter green (signo's green is a little too dark, but i still like it.) and i like petit1's apple green too.
Favorite Purple
not really a purple fan, i dont like true violet purples. But i do like the lighter purples like the petit1's purple

I love orange (my phone, pda, and watch is orange) but if you ask me whats my favorite shade of orange it would be habernaro orange(fountain pen ink) or the mandarine orange from Hi-tec-C. i wish sony would make limited edition pen dedicated to their sunset orange...
Favorite Brown
Don't have any so cant judge, wanting the signo brown black, but out of stock.
Favorite Highliter Color
Did i mention i HATE neon colors!! thinking about them make me naucious! i mean i used to love them when i was a kid, i had so many sets of these neon markers, but after staring at these bright colors for a while, i got headaches, and felt really naucious, and still do. Im weird. so my favorite color is that Spotlighter2 Emerald color (which will be stolen by my gf by the end of this month for sure :( ). i must get this out of me: I HATE NEON PINK THE MOST!!

I wonder if you meant barell color or actual pen color??

Favorite Blue: I do like gel pens and a paper mate blue pen

Favorite Black : Gel pens are good blacks. But I don't really have a preference for ballpoint blacks..they're very similar (as long as they're smooth)

Favorite Red : hi tech c?

Favorite Green: uniball signo

Favorite Purple: purple-black uniball signo

Favorite Orange: Currently Zebra Sarasara 0.7

Favorite Brown : brownblack uniball signo


Favorite Highliter Color: Currently Lavender and apricot orange

i hate those ballpoint blacks too, especially the ones that come with free pens they give out. I know what you mean with them being too light to be a true black. The G-Spec-White pen's black are really black, that's why I like it :)

I do really like how the signo pens write. Nice and smooth.

Many japanese ballpens just write well. Many American pens tend on dying on you...very not good when in a writing frenzy or taking notes like mad, and the lecturer doesn't stop to even breathe!!

Favorite Blue : I actually like Staedtler triplus fineliner's sky blue, but if talking about Japanese Pens then...uniball Signo DX (Light Blue)
Favorite Black : Pilot V Signpen...if you notice, uni's black is actually grayish compared to Pilot's black...I tried Comparing Signo DX with Pilot G-2...you'll see some difference...but I like the more solid black of Pilot.
Favorite Red : uni-ball Signo DX (Red)
Favorite Green: uni-ball Signo DX (Green) There's a bit of yellowish in it, which i like
Favorite Purple : uni-ball Signo DX (Lavender Black)

I do like the DX series a lot...the only thing i hate is the PINK

MY favorite pink is Baby Pink pilot petit, pilot gel...
Favorite magenta or fuschia- Uniball signo
favorite green-still looking for. I prefer the lime yellowed greens and no one makes a darker one yet. Like the brighter yelllow greens dislike "blue greens"

Favorite blue a periwinkle type blue I have in a gelly roll that is now discontinued. ALso Le Pen has it by Marvy. I love to write with the felt tip of Le Pen but the ink is not permanent and water washes it away so easily.
