So, what did everyone get for Christmas this year?

My family doesn't really do gift exchanges, but I did get a lovely scarf from my mom :)

And as crazy present to myself, I brought myself the Canon Rebel XT camera...I know, crazy...but I saw all the cool stuff people could do with it! It's my first SLR.

And of course, a late Christmas present to myself, a $150 fountain pen, my first every CRAZY pen purchase ever! I'm still waiting for it in the mail.

With those 2 purchases, I MUST cap myself's spending for a while. I'm not a rich person, so those purchases are pretty darn huge purchases.

So, Betty, what fountain pen did you splurge on for yourself as a late Christmas present? I can't think of a better gift.

I spurged on a new computer-- not so much a splurge, my previous one had an electrical fluke to the logic board. So I HAD to purchase one. Since I am self employed I could not use one at work...

A Danitrio Raw Ebonite & a Sailor 1911. I will post pictures when they arrive :)

I bought myself a light baby blue Polo hoody sweater, a Gap striped sweater (after x-mas sale discount), Gap socks (I love argyle), my students overflowed my little den with so much chocolate I had to regift some of them... I got some socks from fellow teachers, and I got a Japanese new years hello kitty handkercheif, my brother got my a Mac mini so I now own 2 Comps, my collection of pens and stationary i got, and someone got me a cute gingerbread man shaped candle...and I am yet to exchange gifts w/one of my friends so I'm getting another gift soon enough...

and Happy New Year!! With all this food, i think I need to lose some weight...and with me enrolling in a college course again, i have good use for those notebooks, and pens and stuff I got here... :)

Always great to hear from you again Yumi. Haven't heard from you these past few days. You got so many presents! Cool! Take pictures of your pens and stationery you got as presents :)

Are you going back for a MS now? I'm on the fence about going for a MBA.

yeah, I've been kind of in my own world ... winter and all..., but the holidays had me going crazy a bit, but when I got that x-mas card from the JP staff, I had to come back online...

My new acquisitions aren't really all that special...since they're from jetpens anyways... :) but I think when I get a chance I will display the hanky..it's kittilicious...

I received a digital camera, clothes, and lots of money that I have yet to spend on a shopping spree. :D

I wouldn't mind having lots of money... :D

Mmerry belated xmas! and newyears... i got an ipod shuffle from cousin, a A|X wallet from gf, and money from the parents, not much but just what i needed, jp sent out a neat card too, thank you!

Oh, an ipod shuffle! Those are so cute, but I hate how they have no display. I kind of wanted to get the nano, but they are so delicate I'd be afraid to break one of them.

Yeah, I got the card too. It's so pretty & with Jetpen's very neat handwriting in it too...thanks so much! I was so touched that jetpens took the time out to send cards to their customers & made it handwritten too...awww.

gotta love the handwritten message with the fuschia ink =P
