Product Details
Colorful and cartridge refillable fountain pens seem to be gaining popularity in Japan. The treasured spirit of writing is captured in a new and modern form.

The Platinum Preppy, like the Pilot Petit1, is a compact fountain pen available in different ink colors. The stainless steel nib is colored to match the color of the ink. It's refillable with cartridges and made of 40% recycled plastic (how green!)

Weight: 0.40 oz

Really CUTE! the color is a marigold kind of color, a dark yellow you can actually see. I like to use it to draw smiley faces :D but I also use it in my notes for things I would normally highlight. No trouble with this pen at all except when I first put the ink in, it took a while to start. Other than that, PERFECT.

I am currently in love with the j. herbin and pilot iroshizuku bottled inks and am waiting on my...

I tried Preppys with standard Platinum ink, then with brush cartridges (...products_id/1973) and with carbon ink cartridges (...products_id/3462).
In my opinion it is good pen only with two last. Smooth, non dries without cap for 10-15 minutes. And price (for carbon ink) is the same. Brush ink darker and smoother. I...
